Town Trucks Damaged In Friday Night Fire

Middlesex, N.Y. - Three dump trucks were damaged after a highway barn caught fire Friday night, according to the Yates County Sheriff's Department.

Yates County Deputies, along with members of several nearby fire departments, responded to a fire at a highway barn located at 1240 Mill Street in Middlesex around 9:30 Friday night. Three dump trucks housed in the barn were damaged in the blaze, one of which is considered a total loss.

A town meeting will be held in Middlesex Saturday morning to discuss what to do about the trucks damaged in the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
