Rochester, N.Y. - Four adults and three children are displaced after a building fire Friday afternoon.
According to the Rochester Fire Department, several calls concerning a blaze at 1100 North Goodman Avenue began coming in shortly after 3:00 p.m.
First reports indicated that a person was trapped in the structure. Firefighters arrived on scene within minutes, but found no one in the home.
The two-story structure housed two apartments. Investigators believe the blaze began in the upstairs apartment, but an investigation is ongoing.
Four adults and three children lived in the two apartments. They are being helped by the Red Cross.
