Greece, N.Y. -- Firefighters responded to a house fire on Wood Rd. in Greece around 4:30 a.m.
A person was trapped on the first floor when firefighters arrived. Firefighters say they rescued the person trapped and put out the fire in 20 minutes.
The fire caused extensive damage to the kitchen according to the Ridge Road Fire District.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
