Turnout at two flu shot clinics held by Flu Prevention Partners Sunday was much lighter than expected.
Health officials are urging people to get vaccinated as soon as possible, as flu season is only about halfway over.
Officials say there are plenty of shots available, and it’s not too late to get one.
“It might not protect you from all of the strains of flu, but if you have the flu shot you're much less apt to get sick,” said Rebecca Locke of Flu Prevention Partners. "Even if you do come down with the flu, your symptoms will not be as bad as somebody that didn't get vaccinated at all."
