Rochester, N.Y. – A third person will serve prison time for drug case involving a former Rochester Americans’ player.
William Harrison, 41, will spend 18 months in prison for conspiracy and intent to distribute marijuana. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Harrison joined up with then-Amerks player Sean McMorrow to ship around 80 pounds of marijuana between Canada and the U.S. over a two-year period.
McMorrow is currently serving two years in prison for his role in the conspiracy. He also has to pay at $2,000 fine and will be deported.
Another man received a 14-month sentence for the crime last month.
