Geneva, N.Y. - Some good samaritans are being credited for helping an elderly couple escape from a car fire.
Ontario County Sheriff's deputies say Roger and Joann Kerrick were driving on Route 14 in Geneva Saturday morning when a mechanical problem caused the driver to lose control and drive into a ditch.
The car rolled over several times before catching on fire.
That's when some good samaritans stopped to help the couple get out of the car.
The couple was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for injuries.
