Geneva, N.Y.- Police released the name of the man shot and killed in Geneva Saturday morning.

Police said Damon Thomas, 34, of Geneva, was discovered around 1:25 a.m. at 178 North Genesee Street.

He was transported to Geneva General Hospital and pronounced dead.

Police charged Larry Mallard, 26, with second degree murder.

The investigation is continuing.
