Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester Police arrested a man they say stabbed a woman several times in a high rise apartment building in the city Tuesday.
Police say Dennis McFadden, 47, is accused of stabbing Doreen Hildebrandt, 53, inside the Andrews Terrace apartment complex at 125 St. Paul Street.
The victim was discovered in the stairwell between the 18th and 19th floors Tuesday morning.
The two live in the apartment building.
Police say McFadden was arrested as he tried to leave the building Tuesday.
Hildebrandt was listed in guarded condition Wednesday morning at Strong Memorial Hospital.
