Seneca County- Two young residents of the Hillside Children’s Center are under arrest, accused in a crime spree across the campus.

Seneca County Sheriff's Investigators arrested the two juveniles Tuesday. They’re charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and petit larceny.

Police say on November 9, the two left the housing dormitory without permission and broke into the campus cafeteria.

While there, police say they threw food and condiments around the kitchen area, as well as urinated and defecated in the kitchen.

Authorities say the pair then stole a case of ice cream bars and left the building with knives and a cell phone. Investigators say they went to the campus green house and cut the walls to get inside.  While inside they’re accused of pouring paint on the floor and prying open drawers and cabinets.

Before they were caught, police say the two punctured a tire on a campus vehicle.

The suspects’ names are not being released because of their ages.
