Honeoye Falls, N.Y. - The Monroe County Sheriff's Office released the name of a man shot in Honeoye Falls Monday night.

Police said Jason Gibson, 30, was discovered around 9:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the leg inside an apartment at 201 Ontario Street. Police blocked off several streets around the area of Ontario and Monroe Streets as a precaution.

Authorities said a number of bullet holes were found in the residence and it appears that one of the rounds entered the home and hit the victim.

Gibson was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
