Man Arrested After Beating Up Woman And Stealing Her Car

Rochester, N.Y. – State Police say they arrested Michael C. Connor, 21, after a woman identified him as the man who kicked her windshield in, punched her in the face and stole her car Friday. 

Police say the woman was found walking up the exit ramp on the Inner Loop and Scio St. in Rochester. The woman was crying and had blood coming from her mouth, according to police.

After the woman explained to police what happened they were able to locate her car and find the suspect, according to the State Police report. 

Police say Connor, from Rochester, attempted to give a false name and date of birth but the victim was able to identify him as the man who stole her car. 

Connor was found to be in possession of three small bags of crack cocaine, one gram of heroin as well as driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police. 

Police say Connor was charged with robbery in the second degree, causing physical injury, grand larceny in the third degree, driving while intoxicated and other charges.

Connor was transported to Monroe County Jail for arraignment.
