Brighton Teen Indicted For Assault Following Serious Crash

Brighton, N.Y. - A teen driver has been indicted on several felony charges after an October crash left several of his passengers seriously injured.

John Zakhary, 16, was indicted on assault, reckless driving and several traffic violations by a grand jury.

Zakhary slammed into the back of a school bus on Warren Ave. in Brighton in October, seriously injuring three of his passengers.

If convicted, Zakhary faces up to 7 years in prison.
