Greece, N.Y. - The school bus monitor who was shown in a video being relentlessly bullied by a group of boys says she's retiring.

Karen Klein told The Associated Press on Friday it was a tough decision to leave the job she held for three years, but that it's time to move on.

Klein, 68, says she's not quitting because of what happened.

A ten-minute video showing Klein being taunted by four students went viral online and spurred an outpouring of more than $700,000 in donations from all over the world. She also received a free trip to Boston and a Disney vacation.

Klein plans to donate some of the money to the Mary Cariola Children's Center and School of the Holy Childhood because her family has been affected by autism and Down syndrome.

The students involved have been suspended for a year.
