New York (AP) - Sen. Charles Schumer wants the Transportation Security Administration to reverse its newly announced plan to allow passengers to bring small knives and other items, like golf clubs and hockey sticks, onto planes.

Schumer, D-N.Y., said Sunday the TSA's new policy puts passengers and crew members in danger.

He said the items, which were banned after the Sept. 11 attacks, could be used as weapons.
