Rochester, N.Y.- A Lake snow warning is in effect through 10 a.m. Wednesday in Monroe, Orleans, and Wayne Counties.
Lake effect snow will continue in the bitter cold air for Wednesday.
Most areas will find around 2" of snow with higher totals possible in any persistent lake snow areas.
Wednesday's high will only be near 15 with sub-zero wind chills continuing. Expect more lake snow showers Wednesday night with additional accumulation possible in sustained lake snow areas.
Wednesday night's low will be near 8.
A few sunny breaks return with some flurries on Thursday. The high will be near 18. Steady area-wide snow will develop Friday with a high in the mid 20s.
