Rochester, N.Y. - According to a new survey, more local employers plan to give raises next year.

The Rochester Area Pay Trends survey, conducted by the Rochester Business Alliance, shows that 88 percent of employers plan to give raises for some or all of their employees in 2013. This projection is on par with projections nationwide.

This year's percentage of planned pay raises is up five percent from last year, according to the same survey.

156 Rochester Business Alliance member companies participated, including the University of Rochester, Wegmans, and Bausch + Lomb. These 156 companies represent more than 82,000 employees.
