Lodi, N.Y. – Police say the driver killed in a crash in Seneca County may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.
Seneca County Sheriff’s deputies say Blaise Fallon, 67, was driving on Rt. 414 in Lodi when he swerved into the other lane and hit another car head-on.
Fallon was taken Geneva General Hospital where he later died.
The driver of the other car, Mark O’Conner, 45, was uninjured in the crash. Two passengers in his car, Robert Colavita, 55, and Cynthia Colavita, 51, we taken to Cayuga Medical Center for back and neck pain.
Deputies say Fallon had just come back from a trip out of the country and was fatigued at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
