Macedon, N.Y.- Macedon Police arrested a 32-year-old man after allegedly dragging his wife with his car.
Police say David Cruz, of Wolcott, got into an argument with his wife Tuesday morning at the Express Mart in the Village of Macedon.
Police say when his wife tried to get out of their car which was parked, Cruz put the vehicle in reverse and accelerated and she was caught between the door and the pavement.
Authorities say Cruz did not stop and continued backing up, dragging his wife under the vehicle.
Cruz took off and police caught him in Palmyra.
Police say he was drunk and was charged with DWI, personal injury accident, unlicensed operator, uninspected motor vehicle, third-degree assault, and second-degree reckless endangerment.
An order of protection was issued for the victim.
