Rochester, N.Y. – Police say Joshua Groat, 27, is dead after being assaulted on Whitney St. on Saturday around 2 a.m.
Rural Metro EMTs responded to Whitney St. and Lyell Ave and found a man unresponsive.
He was then transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was then pronounced dead, police say.
No names have been released. Rochester Police are still investigating what happened.
