Rochester, N.Y.- Rochester Police released the name of a man struck and killed by a freight train near Village Gate Tuesday afternoon.

It happened on the tracks on North Goodman Street, behind the Village Gate complex.

Police say Seth Bachman, 23, was walking with another person along the train tracks in the CSX rail yard looking at the trains. As the train approached, the victim was still standing on the tracks and was hit.

Police say this was an accident.
