Wheatland, N.Y. – A 22-year-old man died after falling off a moving vehicle early Saturday morning.
Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies charged the driver, Timothy Gorton, 25, of LeRoy, with third-degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation.
Police say Gorton was driving around 3:00 a.m. Saturday when one of his passengers, Orry Dowdell, 22, climbed onto the roof of the moving vehicle.
Dowdell fell off the vehicle and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died.
