Rochester, N.Y. – A man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in Rochester late Saturday night.
Police responded to a reported shooting on Saratoga Ave. just before midnight, but did not see anyone at the scene.
Police say they stopped a car that had been speeding near Park Ave. and Alexander St. shortly after and found the occupant of the car had a gun shot wound to his lower body.
The occupant of the car was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Police are continuing their investigation on what happened.
