Geneseo, N.Y.---Livingston County Sheriff's Deputies say a marijuana growing operation was everywhere in the Leicester home of Mark Biondilillo, including his son's room.

Monday, an elementary school teacher noticed the smell of marijuana on a five-year-old student. School resource officer Gene Chichester initially investigated the matter.

"There was definitely an odor to it, a strong odor of marijuana so, I mean it definitely raised some suspicion with myself that there was something going on in the residence," said Chichester.

Biondilillo was arrested Monday and faces drug and child endangerment charges.

Livingston County District Attorney Eric Schiener said that Biondilillo waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday morning and is being held in the county jail on $25,000 bail. Federal charges are also possible, according to Schiener.
