Pembroke, N.Y. – Three people face charges for growing marijuana in Pembroke. Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested James P. Cox, 49, Jessica D. Cox, 22, and Beau T. Bressler, 25. All three are charged with criminal possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and unlawful growing of cannabis.
Deputies said U.S. Customs and Border Patrol were flying in a helicopter, when they noticed what appeared to be a marijuana crop on Angling Road in Pembrooke. Agents said they witnessed two people harvesting all of the plants while they were flying overhead, and alerted the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said a total of 32 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $15,000 was seized.
