Canandaigua, N.Y. - Mercy Flight Central has announced that it's adding a third base of operations.
The non-profit provider of air medical services will add a base in Schuyler, three miles east of Utica. Mercy Flight officials said the expansion allows for improved service to the central part of New York.
Operations are expected to begin in March. Mercy Flight Central will add about twelve new jobs over the coming year.
