Woman Injured Trying to Put Out Fire in City

Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester woman burned herself while trying to put out a fire in her home Sunday.

City fire crews tell us the fire took place at 132 Midvale Terrace just before noon. There were working smoke detectors in the home.

The second floor sustained fire, smoke and water damage.

The woman and one firefighter suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire. The Red Cross is helping out some of the home's residents.
