Greece, N.Y. - Police will resume their search for Donald Grim Wednesday morning.
Grim, 76, was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday in the area of Lowden Point and Edgemere Drive. He went for a walk and never returned to his home.
Grim was wearing blue jeans, a black knit hat, black gloves, and was carrying a walking stick.
Police searched densely wooded areas all day Tuesday around the area where he went missing. A helicopter was also used to search over land and water.
Grim's family said he has a blood disorder which makes it difficult for him to tolerate cold temperatures.
"It hits him fast to be out there this long; if he's out there it's affected him," said Donald's brother John Grim.
His brother and sister-in-law Cheryl Grim said they hoped he would have returned on Monday, but once it got dark they reported him missing.
John Grim said lately his brother has gotten confused.
Donald Grim's dog sat in the front yard Tuesday, waiting for him to come home. John Grim said his brother spent everyday walking his dog.
