In a statement, Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn said, “We understand the importance of social media and the immediate impact it has for people to communicate with family, friends, and their community.”
Brendan O’Riordan was hired to be in charge of administering social media for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
O’Riordan said, “I’m humbled and honored to be working for the Sheriff’s Office. I have always had respect for men and women in law enforcement, and that respect continues to grow when I see all the good that’s done by deputies on a daily basis.”
