Rochester, N.Y. - During the summer break from school, children across Monroe County are encouraged to keep reading.
The annual Summer Reading Program runs June 23 through August 5.
Children of all ages sign up online to take part and will be eligible for prizes at the end of the summer.
Last year, Monroe County said 2,500 students took part in the program.
