Police: Yates Mom Kissed Son In Jail To Transfer Drugs

Penn Yan, N.Y. - A Yates County woman is being charged after an investigation revealed that she passed drugs to her son in jail by kissing him.

Yates County Sheriff's officials say Kimberly Margeson, 54, put Oxycodone pills in her mouth, then brought them into the Yates County Jail when she visited her son William Partridge, an inmate.

Officials say Margeson, of Penn Yan, then passed the pills to her son when she kissed him.

Margeson is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and Promoting Prison Contraband. She is being held on $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond.

Her son will be arraigned on Promoting Prison Contraband charges next week.
