Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester man is in the Monroe County Jail accused of threatening a woman with a knife and then burning her property in a yard on Smith Street.

Melsam Moyd, 28, is charged with criminal contempt, menacing, aggravated harassment and arson.

On January 24, the Rochester Fire and Police Department responded to 725 Smith Street for a report of a person burning property outside the home.
