Rochester, N.Y. - One neighborhood in southwest Rochester is getting an uplifting new look.
Eder Muniz is the artist behind a new mural at the corner of Genesee Street and Frost Avenue. The Center of Teen Empowerment commissioned the mural -- which represents hope, unity and neighborhood pride.
Muniz, of Brazil, already has several other pieces of artwork throughout the city.
He's been working with five young apprentices to help bring this new mural to life. You can see it on the side of Johnie Grocery corner store at Genesee and Frost Streets.
An official unveiling ceremony takes place Monday night at 6 p.m.
