National Grid To Pay $1.7M To Settle $7,000 NY Gift Case

(AP) - National Grid will pay nearly $1.7 million to settle a state investigation into the utility's gifts of golf rounds and meals for regulators.

The Public Service Commission must approve the settlement.

The inspector general's office says two state workers have resigned over the matter.
