Rochester, N.Y. – Northside Church of Christ celebrated its 50
th anniversary this weekend, ending with a luncheon at the Rochester Plaza Hotel and an afternoon worship.
The church hosted events and activities to commemorate its history and contributions to the community, including operating a Christian school and a 22-unit senior housing complex.
Joseph Brown, a minister at the Church of Christ said, “We are here as part of that celebration, the 50th celebration of the congregation, the beginning of the Church of the Christ in Rochester, New York, that was established by my dad 50 years ago.”
