Henrietta, N.Y. – The Pancreatic Cancer Association held a walk at RIT to raise money for local research on Sunday.

The walk took place at the Gordon Field House, where hundreds of people participated by walking around the track.

Dr. Arem Hazel, an assistant professor of oncology at the University of Rochester, said, “Many successful research programs have been launched by similar efforts, both in pancreatic cancer and in other cancers.  So this walk is critical to our mission and to our success in pancreatic research.”

The walk proceeds directly benefit local pancreatic cancer research conducted at the Wilmot Cancer Center.
