Penfield, N.Y. – The 1962 graduating class of Penfield High School dedicated a plaque Saturday to honor their classmate Thomas King, who was killed in action in Vietnam in July of 1967.

The dedication was part of the class’ 50th reunion, which runs through the weekend.

King was their Senior Class Vice-President.

King’s family attended the dedication as did a Marine Corps Color Guard and Penfield Town Supervisor Anthony LaFountain.

13WHAM’s Don Alhart made remarks as did students from Bay Trail Middle School and Penfield High School.
