Rochester, N.Y. -- Emily Armstrong, a senior at Mercy High School, scored a perfect 2400 on her SATs.
Although Armstrong said she thought she did well on the test, she did not expect a perfect score.
Armstrong also gave some advice to others who are taking the SATs.
"Challenge yourself, and study what interests you,” she said. “That's the way you will probably learn best, and don't stress out to much about the SAT because it's only one aspect of your entire intellecual life."
Armstrong hopes to attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology next year to study physics. After that she hopes to get her doctorate and do research.
