Bloomfield, N.Y. – Police say Wallery Kotlik Jr., from Bloomfield, was arrested after he allegedly bit and struck his girlfriend.
After the physical altercation, Kotlik got a shotgun with a live round in the chamber, which caused the victim to leave the house for fear of her life, according to police.
Police say this took place in front of two young children.
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim and the children, according to police.
Kotlik was arrested for menacing in the second degree, assault in the third degree, criminal obstruction of breathing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s office.
Kotlik was taken to Ontario County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Bristol Town Court at a later date.
