Rochester, N.Y. - The French Bulldog that was abandoned in a local pet store has moved on to greener pastures.
Pierre is now in the hands of a non-profit rescue group in Greece. Ownership has been transferred from Lollypop Farm to Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets (GRASP, Inc.), which means he's healthy enough to eventually be put up for adoption.
The six-year old dog was abandoned in a Monroe Avenue pet store in Pittsford over a week ago. He was severely malnourished when he was found.
Lollypop Farm says the investigation into Pierre's abandonment continues.
