Rochester, N.Y. - Have a concern about violence in the city of Rochester or have a question for Rochester’s Police Chief? You can ask it via twitter.
Beginning in January, Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard will host a series of Twitter Town Hall sessions.
He wants to use social media to start a conversation to discuss how police and the community can work together to address concerns. You can tweet your comments, suggestions, questions, and ideas.
The sessions will be every Tuesday in January from 3 to 4 p.m.
The first session will be held January 8.
In order to take part, you must have a Twitter account and follow the Rochester Police Department Twitter feed at @RochesterNYPD.
You must also include the hashtag, #RPDChief.
