Parma, N.Y.- A standoff on Parma Center Road ended peacefully late Wednesday afternoon.

Greece Police said Thomas Bell, 42, came out of his house and was taken into custody at about 4:50 pm.

Police said the standoff started around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, when they got a call from a woman who said she was concerned that her boyfriend was going to harm her.

Police said they located him around Vintage Lane and Long Pond Road.

Authorities said when they tried to pull his vehicle over he fled to a home at 39 Parma Center Road.

Police said Bell lives with his parents at that location, but they are not home. He was wanted on five warrants for crimes including probation violations, criminal contempt and aggravated harassment. Two warrants, one on criminal contempt and another for aggravated harassment, involved alleged crimes that took place as recently as Monday.

It's not yet clear whether Bell had any weapons in the home.

Traffic was blocked off at Manitou Road at Parma Center Road.

Police have not yet said what charges Bell is facing.
