Rochester, N.Y.- Rochester Police say two 16-year-old boys are under arrest charged in a home invasion robbery that seriously injured a man.
Police arrested Jimmy Briggs and Shakier Ficklin Thursday night.
Just before 10 p.m., officers received a call for a burglary in progress on Remington Street and while on-scene heard movement inside the home.
They found the victim near the front door with serious injuries and realized a home invasion robbery had taken place.
After quickly and safely removing the victim and getting him to the hospital, officers searched the house and found the two suspects hiding in the basement.
They were taken into custody.
The victim is being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital. We’re told he is in stable condition.
