Rochester, N.Y. - The president of Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary announced he will step down following the 2013-14 school year.

Dr. John Martin made the announcement Monday during a campus-wide meeting.

In a statement Martin said, “The College is moving into its next critical phase of development, and I feel that the timing of this transition makes sense from a strategic perspective. I am proud of all we have accomplished together, and I feel confident that that Roberts Community will continue to thrive.”

The College’s board of trustees will begin the process to determine a successor.
