Rochester, N.Y. – With temperatures expected to push 90 degrees again, cooling stations will again be open around Rochester.
The City announced a Cool Sweep Heat Emergency will be offered Saturday, meaning open spray parks and longer hours at public pools and Durand Eastman Beach. Spray parks and hydrant locations will be open until 4 p.m., while swimming areas will be open until 8 p.m.
Cool Sweeps are offered when the forecast calls for temperatures of at least 85 degrees.
