Heat Emergency Declared On Friday

Rochester, N.Y. – With temperatures expected reach the 90s, Rochester Mayor Tom Richards has a declared a heat emergency on Friday.

The 13WHAM Weather Authority expects the heat to continue through the middle of next week, with the high temperatures ranging from the mid-80s to 90 degrees.

In addition to Cool Sweep locations, cooling centers at libraries and public pools will be open for extended hours.
