Rochester, N.Y. – “Flip for Breast Cancer” held a fundraiser Sunday, having teams flip truck tires to raise money for breast cancer.
The money raised at the event benefits SIS -- Sustain. Inspire. Survive. SIS is a Rochester non-profit organization that helps people with breast cancer financially.
Colleen Flaherty, a personal trainer at FORE Performance and the event organizer, said, "A lot of people are interested in the tire flipping. It's crazy, it's unique, so that's why we decided to go with tire flipping."
This year was the first tire-flipping event, but Flaherty says they are hoping it will turn into an annual event.
