Rochester, N.Y .- The Rochester Police Department officially launched its own Facebook page Monday.
In a press release, Chief James Sheppard said the RPD has a vision to use all of social media as an investigative tool, for community outreach, to send time-sensitive notifications, and to enhance recruitment efforts.
