Rochester, N.Y. - Three people were sent to the hospital Thursday after a crash involving a Rural Metro ambulance sport utility vehicle and a van in the city of Rochester.
Police said the SUV was responding to an emergency call with its lights and sirens on when it collided with a van at the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Avenue D around 11:30 a.m.
The driver of the van was sent to Rochester General Hospital.
Two people in the SUV were sent to Strong Hospital.
We were told the injuries were not life threatening.
