Rochester, N.Y. – Santa joined the Rochester Deaf Rotary Club for breakfast on Saturday at the Alpha Lutheran Church.

John Haynes and Karen Beiter, two of the volunteers for the breakfast, explained how Santa was able to communicate with children over breakfast by signing with them.

Haynes and Beiter also said this event draws a larger crowd each year as this has become an annual event.

The proceeds from the event will support local charities as well as victims of Hurricane Sandy.
