Seneca Falls, N.Y. – A Seneca Falls man was arrested Thursday for attempted criminal possession of marijuana in the 1st degree, a Class D Felony.
The arrest stems from an investigation that began in December when a Seneca Falls resident received a package that had a large amount of marijuana inside. The resident called 911.
After further investigation, police concluded that the package was intended for Angnem Green, 29, of Geneva. It was then discovered that the marijuana weighed approximately 10 pounds with a street value of roughly $50,000.
Green was arrested in Geneva and was arraigned in the Town of Junius Court.
He was then committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail.
